How to create JAMB profile for direct entry

The 2017/2018 UTME examination is around the corner. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has updated their portal with some new additional things participants must take note of. One of the new features is that it is now compulsory for everyone taking the exam or applying for direct entry to have a JAMB profile on the JAMB website. Creating your profile on the website will enable you do your JAMB registration, check your result, print out your result and also print out your admission letter amongst other things.
Follow the instructions below to create your JAMB profile:


  • Visit the official JAMB portal for participants on http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/login.

    • Click on ‘Create account’.
    • Provide your email address and every other information required on the page that opens up. Make sure you register with an email address you have access to.
      • After you have entered all the correct information, select verify email. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
      • Open another tab on your browser and log into your email inbox.
      • Open the email address confirmation email sent by JAMB and click on the link to continue your profile creation in the mail.
      • A sign-up form page will be opened in another tab. Fill out this form carefully, and make sure all the information provided is accurate and can be confirmed.
        • After completing the form, carefully go over it just to make sure everything is okay.
        • They click on the ‘Sign Up’ option to complete your profile creation.
