Facebook celebrates 13th birthday with personalized Friends Day video, GIFs and more
4th. In order to celebrate its 13th
birthday, which it calls as Friends
Day, the social network has rolled
out a bunch of new products to
encourage its users to connect with
their friends.
First up, starting this week Facebook
started showing users
their personalized Friends Day
video which is a compilation of your
Facebook friends and the memories
you have shared together. This video
is present at the top of your News
Feed. You can even edit this video
by selecting friends and photos of
your choice. This video can then be
shared on Facebook. Moving on, the
social network is adding friendship-
themed GIFs to Messenger and these
GIFs will be highlighted during
conversations.
