The latest version of YouTube app on iOS has brought a new change that will be able to playback vertical videos correctly.
Meanwhile, the update was issued to Android since two and a half years ago but iOS never had the update until now.
Bye to black bars as users will be able to play vertically shot video in the correct aspect ratio. When playing a video in fullscreen keeps the screen in portrait so the video full your whole and entire screen.

Before now, going fullscreen on a vertical video played it in landscape with black bars on the sides.
So, this update has bring an end to black bars. Meanwhile, there is no fix announced for those who still record videos vertically.
